This is something I wrote during therapy to help me cope with life.

 

You may use it to help others maybe understand what they have.

 

Please don't pity me.

Joining the service at such an early age saved me.

 

Why Mother Why?

 

Why Mother do I cry

As Mothers day approaches?

It’s a time for families that come together

And exchange good wishes.

 

 

Why Mother do I pain

Reading Mother Day cards having good tidings?

This while sons and daughters are showing

Mothers all their loving.

 

Why Mother Why,

Did I run off to join the service?

Why mother didn’t you ever hold me

Or hug me or kiss me before the yelling?

 

Why Mother Why?

Was the bottle so important?

Why all the anger and the beatings,

Over an empty bottle from drinking?

 

I wish every one a Happy Mothers Day and listen folks, all families have problems, However don’t ever let a Mothers love go unrewarded.

I hope you will never know what it’s like with out a loving mother. So hug and smother her with love trust me I wish I could.

This was sent to me via email,You see we have angels all around us,you just need to be open to them.

I would really like to share these words of wisdom with all of you

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between 2 "wolves" inside us all.

 

One is Evil.  BAD FEED

It is anger, envy, jealousy,sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, Addictions, All Forms of Abuse and ego.

 

The other is Good. GOOD FEED

It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, Loyalty ,Respect,Compassion,Honorable and faith."

 

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather:

"Which wolf wins?"

 

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
